A water based fluorochemical carpet and uphlstery protector
Stainshield Professional offers the highest level of fluorochemical protection available from the Chemspec range. Protection includes oil,water and general soil build up. Protector can increase the life of your customers carpet as well as offering the ability to blot or stains and avoiding permanent staining.
The protector is best applied following a mist of Textile Rinse at a dilution of 20 to 1.
Coverage is variable depending on the weight of the fabric or carpet, however the following guidlenes are reccomended:
Carpet - using the 4 to 1 dilution
apply the 5L of ready to use solution to 25 square metres of 40oz carpet (normal axminster type)
apply the 5L of ready to use solution to 50 square metres of 20oz carpet (low profile carpet)
apply the 5L of ready to use solution to 12 and a half square metres to 80oz (shag pile/long pile or highly dense carpet)
Upholstery - using a 2 to 1 dilution apply 2 L of ready to use over 7 square metres of fabric (approx. a 2 seater setee and 2 chairs)
The key is to thouroughly dampen the fibres
