Adequate ventilation is required when using chemicals in confined spaces.
When using flammable materials; cigarettes, naked flames and other sources of ignition should be carefully controlled.

❓ 1. What is this product and what is it used for?
It’s a high‑strength sodium hypochlorite solution designed primarily as a patio and hard‑surface cleaner for removing stubborn dirt, algae, moss, and staining. It can also be used for swimming pool maintenance, odour removal, bleaching and water purification in certain settings.
❓ 2. How do I dilute it before use?
Mix 1 part sodium hypochlorite with 5 parts water as a general start. For tougher stains, some users increase strength to about 1 part chemical to 3 parts water. Always adjust based on surface type and test first.
❓ 3. How do I apply the cleaner?
-
Sweep and rinse the area first.
-
Apply your diluted solution with a sprayer, brush or watering can.
-
Let it sit for about 45 minutes.
-
Rinse thoroughly with water or a pressure washer.
❓ 4. Can I use it on all patio types (e.g., Indian sandstone)?
Yes — it’s suitable for many hard surfaces including sandstone, concrete, block paving and stone, but always test a small area first to check for any discolouration or damage.
❓ 5. How strong is the chemical?
The solution contains 14–15 % sodium hypochlorite, which is a strong oxidizing and cleaning agent — much stronger than household bleach and effective for heavy‑duty cleaning. Because of this strength, it must be handled carefully.
❓ 6. What safety precautions should I take?
Wear protective gloves, goggles and clothing. Avoid breathing fumes, and keep children and pets away from treated areas for at least 48 hours. Always work in a well‑ventilated area.
❓ 7. Is it hazardous?
Yes — the product is corrosive and toxic to eyes and skin if contact occurs. It’s also harmful to aquatic life, so take care not to discharge large amounts into drains or watercourses.
❓ 8. Can I use it around plants or lawns?
No — do not use near lawns, flowerbeds, vegetable plots or around shrubs and trees. It can damage plant life and should only be applied on hard surfaces.
❓ 9. How long does it take to work?
After application, leave the solution on the surface for about 45 minutes before rinsing — this dwell time allows it to break down stubborn algae, organic stains and dirt.
❓ 10. Do I need any special equipment?
You don’t need special tools, but using a pressure washer or sturdy brush to rinse helps achieve better results. Always pair the chemical with protective gear and adequate ventilation.
