❓ 1. What is Liquipak SoftWash Biocide?

It’s a 50 % concentrated biocide cleaning solution designed to remove organic staining — such as black, red, green and yellow marks — on exterior hard surfaces like roofs, patios and cladding.

A biocide is a chemical that kills or inhibits biological growth such as algae, mould, lichen and moss, helping restore surfaces to a cleaner appearance.

❓ 3. Which surfaces can I use it on?

This product is suitable for many hard surfaces including:

• Pathways, patios and concrete
• UPVC and cladding
• Brick, stone and playground equipment
• Tarmac and decking

❓ 4. How do I mix it before use?

The standard dilution is about 1 part biocide to 8 parts water, but for lighter staining you can go as weak as 1:40 depending on conditions.

Apply the diluted solution with a sprayer or watering can over the area you want to treat. You usually don’t need to rinse immediately — the product is a “spray and leave” formula that works over time.

Often no — it’s designed to be left to work. However, if you’re treating areas where runoff could affect plants or surfaces you don’t want to bleach, you may choose to rinse after a suitable dwell time.
